The Hague Humanity Hub welcomes two new Supervisory Board Members: Chizu Matsushita and Tomás Andres Kidd
The Hague Humanity Hub’s Supervisory Board welcomes two new members! The Supervisory Board meets quarterly and is responsible for approving financial and strategic plans, whilst also giving advice and feedback to The Hub’s leadership team.
Chizu Matsushita
Chizu has worked in international cooperation in the Middle East, Africa, Southeast and Central Asia for over 20 years. Currently, Chizu is a lecturer at THUAS and life coach for humanitarian professionals. She is passionate about exploring the linkage between public policymaking, human rights and global challenges, and brings experience working in humanitarianism with UNHCR and the OPCW.
“Joining the board of an organisation full of experts, enthusiasts and changemakers around the most critical issues of the globe excites me a lot!”
Tomás Andres Kidd
Tomás has garnered extensive experience in the realm of social innovation and justice through his work in Argentina, Spain, and France. Presently, he serves as a partner at UpSocial, promoting social innovation for communities. Tomás is excited to join the supervisory board to begin helping the Hub to further develop and consolidate its great value proposition for all the peace and justice stakeholders in The Hague.
“What excites me the most about joining as a Supervisory Board Member is the possibility of helping the Hub to further develop and consolidate its great value proposition for all the peace and justice stakeholders in The Hague”
Our thanks to EJ Lugt and Arjan Hehenkamp
We would also like to take this opportunity to extend farewell and best wishes to EJ Lugt and Arjan Hehenkamp (who will step back from the Board at the end of this year), who are ending their respective tenures on the supervisory board. Both have played significant roles within the Hub, from the start. Thank you for your dedication to the Hub for the past five years!
