Chizu Matsushita
Chizu has worked in international cooperation in the Middle East, Africa, Southeast and Central Asia for over 20 years. Currently, Chizu is a lecturer at THUAS and life coach for humanitarian professionals. She is passionate about exploring the linkage between public policymaking, human rights and global challenges, and brings experience working in humanitarianism with UNHCR and the OPCW.
Dorothea Hilhorst
Thea is an expert in development in areas affected by disaster, conflict or fragility, with a special focus on aid-society relations. Since 2015, she has been active as Professor of Humanitarian Studies at the Institute of Social Studies (ISS) at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Formerly, she was Special Chair for Humanitarian Aid and Reconstruction at Wageningen University. Thea also serves as the president of the International Humanitarian Studies Association and as a board member of the Core Humanitarian Standard Alliance.
Evert Jaap Lugt
EJ is the Managing Director of the Tech Incubator YES!Delft, the largest in the Netherlands with a portfolio of over 200 startups and over €400m in acquired funding. An Industrial Engineering graduate, EJ has accumulated 10 years of experience in the corporate sector and over two decades as an entrepreneur and CEO. He founded a number of successful companies, such as mobile communication solution @Media, messaging app Nimbuzz and NGT International, an innovation and development center focused on building state of the art telecom systems.
Paul Doop
Paul is member of the executive board of the NPO – the Dutch Foundation for Public Broadcasting. He is also a member of the supervisory board of the Anne Frank Foundation in Amsterdam and serves as chairman of the supervisory board of the Dutch Touring Opera. He is associate member of the Netherlands Court of Audit. Paul is a graduate of the Radboud University Nijmegen and the University Leiden, in political science and public finances.
Tomás Andres Kidd
Tomás has garnered extensive experience in the realm of social innovation and justice through his work in Argentina, Spain, and France. Presently, he serves as a partner at UpSocial, promoting social innovation for communities. Tomás is excited to join the supervisory board to begin helping the Hub to further develop and consolidate its great value proposition for all the peace and justice stakeholders in The Hague.
