The Humanity Hub is dedicated to helping professionals and organisations of the peace and justice community improve organisational and collective fundraising capability.
Access to funding and limited fundraising capabilities are common challenges. Many organisations lack the skills, knowledge, and resources to effectively access funding opportunities, potentially limiting capacity and overall impact.
The Hague Humanity Hub and HVFC have joined forces to address these challenges head-on, empower the community, foster knowledge-sharing, establish new connections, and facilitate collaborations and fundraising partnerships. In doing so, we aspire to increase the collective impact of the peace and justice community.
Who is it for?
This innovative programme welcomes professionals and organisations who want to Increase their fundraising skills and knowledge. If you are working towards a more peaceful and just world, including but not limited to humanitarian, development, peace and justice fields, you are welcome to participate.
Programme activities
Learning Sessions
The fundraising learning sessions are crafted to immerse you in specific fundraising themes, knowledge, skills, and opportunities and will be offered based on community demand. Led by experts from HVFC, these engaging events are open to the entire peace and justice community.
Fundraising Walk-in Clinics
Make an appointment to get personalised fundraising insights during HVFC’s weekly one on one 30-minute consultations, face-to-face at the Humanity Hub or on-line. The walk-in clinic aims to provide expert advice on specific, case-based, fundraising questions and are available to Humanity Hub members only.

Our partnership with HVFC is rooted in a shared vision to increase impact by enhancing the fundraising knowledge and capabilities of the peace and justice community.
HVFC is a consultancy firm that works with impact-driven organisations to help them diversify funding, increase impact, and build capacity. Their partnership can range from strategic planning, advisory and thought leadership, to hands-on implementation and interim management — working with you, for you, as you on all three areas. Their offices are located in the Netherlands and the US and their consultants from all over the world work together to make it possible.
The Humanity Hub is a not-for-profit foundation that supports and strengthens The Hague civil society ecosystem working for a more peaceful and just world.We facilitate collaboration and innovation by offering the necessary ingredients for chance encounters, inspirational collaborations, and the exchange of knowledge. The Humanity Hub is both an actively managed community and a beautifully designed space in the city centre of The Hague, where professionals can connect and collaborate, work, and organise events.
