We are proud to announce that Jill Wilkinson, Managing Director of The Hague Humanity Hub, has been named as one of the Top 100 Women in Social Enterprise by Euclid Network!
Being both surprised and honoured, Jill emphasises that while she is “being recognized for something which bridges the divide between the not-for-profit and the for profit space” she is not doing it for the recognition. To her, Social Entrepreneurship is the “only way we should be doing business in the future. There should not be different definitions for social entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship.”
A friend of Jill once said: “If you’re not doing good, what are you doing in business?”, a powerful statement that resonates with Jill’s viewpoint where “there are many entrepreneurial approaches to creating a better world and they are not tied to one particular business model, be it for-profit, nonprofit, or not-for-profit”.

In light of International Women’s Day, the quest for gender equality, and responding to the needs of the community, Jill’s work at the Humanity Hub strives for “inclusiveness across prejudgments”, recognising that all perspectives have value and that “if we can bring them together and learn from each other – those intersections, that’s where the innovation comes from”.
ABOUT THE INITIATIVE
For almost 15 years, Euclid Network (EN) has been fostering social entrepreneurship and social innovation in Europe through knowledge exchange, capacity building, networking and international advocacy. In the spirit of empowering women leaders in Europe, EN has launched the Top 100 Women in Social Enterprise initiative in partnership with Empow’her. Through this initiative, EN celebrates women in the social enterprise sector, spotlighting their impact, journey and achievements, connecting them and enabling them to learn from and inspire each other.
EN held an open call for nominations of exceptional women from across the European social enterprise sector. Based on the nominations, EN created the Euclid Network Top 100 Women in Social Enterprise List featuring women leaders in the areas of entrepreneurship and innovation. We can all choose to challenge the norms and help create a better world. This is your chance to meet the women who are leading the way.
