Netherlands Helsinki Committee Opens Call for Proposals: “Resilient Civil Society and Media Respond to the Ukraine War” (Small Grants for Direct Needs)

The Netherlands Helsinki Committee, as part of a consortium with People in Need (PIN) and Prague Civil Society Centre (PCSC) and with funding from the EU, is running a 24-month project to help strengthen Ukrainian Civil Society and media against the backdrop of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

As part of this, funding has been earmarked to help address immediate needs faced by both Civil Society Organisations, and grassroots initiatives in Ukraine that are aimed at strengthening and promoting human rights. The NHC will be providing around 20 grants of between 1,000 and 9,000 euros to organisations, and has opened its call for proposals.

Full eligibility requirements and details about what the grants can be used for can be found on the NHC website, whilst the whole text of the call for proposals can be found here.
