American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative
American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI) implements legal reform programs in more than 50 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe and Eurasia, Latin America and the Caribbean, and the Middle East and North Africa. Since 1990, ABA ROLI has being working in Europe & Eurasia (where we began our work as CEELI) on an array of rule of law and legal reform programs. In Europe and Eurasia, ABA ROLI provides technical assistance on a wide range of issues essential for further consolidation of the rule of law and developing of legal professionals.

Civitas Maxima
Civitas Maxima facilitates the documentation of international crimes, and pursues the redress of such crimes on behalf of victims who do not have access to justice, by:
(i) collaborating with and building the capacity of local grass-roots partners to document crimes in the state where those crimes were committed;
(ii) coordinating a network of investigators and lawyers to help victims gain access to justice and hold perpetrators accountable before foreign domestic or international courts and tribunals, however, whenever and wherever possible;
(iii) generating awareness and informed debate around victims’ cases, with a view to empowering local communities to pursue their own quests for justice.

Cultural Emergency Response

EIA investigates and campaigns against environmental crime and abuse. Our undercover investigations expose transnational wildlife crime and forest crimes such as illegal logging. We work to safeguard global marine ecosystems by addressing threats such as plastic pollution, and we campaign to eliminate powerful refrigerant greenhouse gases.
European Center for Whistleblower Rights
The European Center for Whistleblower Rights is dedicated to strengthening whistleblower protections and ensuring that crimes, corruption and public health dangers exposed by whistleblowers are fully investigated and remedied. The Center is the only non-profit organization in Europe that provides direct assistance to whistleblowers, campaigns for stronger whistleblower rights, investigates corruption exposed by whistleblowers, and works to hold criminals to account. We are dedicated to ensuring whistleblowers can report misconduct and rectify injustice while limiting their exposure to negative consequences. We provide a full range of assistance to citizens, employees, legal professionals, policy-makers and elected officials. We believe democracy depends on even-handed enforcement of the law, and that enforcement can succeed only if whistleblowers are encouraged to step forward and can report wrongdoing safely and freely. We advocate for confidential and reliable disclosure systems as well as financial incentives and compensation.
European Lawyers Foundation (ELF)
The Foundation shall promote access to justice, training of lawyers, activities relating to the exercise of the profession of lawyer, the rule of law and legal services and substantive developments in the law itself, the defence and protection of human rights and human rights defenders, and international justice. The Foundation shall work at both European and international level. Institute for International Criminal Investigations
The IICI is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation dedicated to the capacity-building and support of international criminal and human rights investigators and related professionals in the investigation of war crimes, genocide crimes against humanity and serious human rights violations, and to strengthening international investigation best practices and standards.
IICI was founded at the time of the establishment of the International Criminal Court, in recognition that, despite the more widespread application of international criminal law, there was no comprehensive training programme for investigators of international crimes.
Since its inception, IICI has trained and mentored hundreds of investigators across the world in the hard skills and techniques necessary to acquire evidence of a standard which will stand up to scrutiny in criminal courts, human rights commissions and elsewhere, and allow perpetrators of mass atrocities to be brought to justice. We conduct our regular courses in The Netherlands. Our bespoke capacity-building and technical advisory projects are delivered globally, from Asia, the Middle East and Europe to Africa and Latin America.
Course participants and project beneficiaries include national war crimes units, the International Criminal Court, the OHCHR and other UN agencies, UN and other peacekeeping missions and forces, national human rights bodies, and local and international NGOs. IICI is the training provider for Justice Rapid Response (JRR) in relation to its rapid-deployment roster of experts and for JRR-UN Women in relation to their sub-roster of SGBV experts.
IICI teaches core skills, but also seeks to develop new ones amongst the international criminal investigation community, including most recently:
- investigating conflict-related sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV)
- international crimes affecting children
- collection and evaluation of open-source evidence of international crimes
- investigating financial dimensions of international crimes
IICI contributes to the development, clarification and strengthening of international investigations standards and best practices through our capacity-building and experts’ advisory work, including written guidelines to plug gaps, such as the IICI guidelines for investigating conflict-related sexual violence against men and the forthcoming IICI guidelines for investigating international crimes affecting children.
IICI has also supported the development and implementation of the International Protocol on the Documentation and Investigation of Sexual Violence in Conflict (1st and 2nd editions), including through training and mentoring projects and by developing training materials accompanying the protocol and developing supplements to the protocol for Myanmar, Iraq and Sri Lanka.
IICI’s most recent contribution to the policy field is in leading the collaborative global initiative to develop the Global Code of Conduct for the Documentation and Investigation of Conflict-Related Sexual Violence (the “Murad Code”).

Together with my partner Jawad Ben Mimoun, we focus on increasing financial control and governance in non-profit organizations, including NGOs. In the past we have helped many large NGOs to make their business processes more efficient and to identify financial risks. We have an open door policy. That means that if you have a topic that has financial characteristics you can walk in, so we can think along with you.
War Childhood Museum
The War Childhood Museum (WCM) is an independent human-centered museum dedicated exclusively to childhoods affected by armed conflicts. It developed from the crowd-sourced book War Childhood and opened its doors in 2017, in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, seven years into its research and development phase. The Museum’s collection consists of over 5.000 personal objects, and hundreds of hours of oral history testimonies from more than 15 armed conflicts such as Syrian Civil War, War in Afghanistan, War in Donbas, Second World War. Because of its focus on experiences of children, the Museum is in a unique position to offer inspirational, politically neutral narratives, which transcends ethnonational divides. Therefore, it is apt to play a valuable role in the reconciliation process in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as in other conflict-affected areas. As such, the WCM has expanded its activities to contemporary conflict, post-conflict, and resettlement zones, becoming an international platform that gives voice to current and former conflict-affected children. Today, the WCM has offices in Sarajevo, Kyiv, New York City, and The Hage.
Besides exhibition, research, and community engagement, the WCM also plays a major role in education. It has developed and is implementing educational activities for students and teachers, with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of providing a peaceful world for future generations.
In 2018, the WCM was awarded the Council of Europe Museum Prize – one of the most prestigious awards in the museum industry – as part of the European Museum of the Year Awards.

Wavemakers United
Wavemakers United is a community of students, young professionals, and athletes with a passion for water. As a youth organization we focus on local challenges while having a global reach with the aim to contribute to the UN2030 SDGs and involve as many youngsters as possible. After the launch of Wavemakers United during the World Expo in Dubai, a globally oriented team has started on the expansion of the Wavemakers-community. The first result being this Challenge, in collaboration with IHE Delft. We believe that the UN2023 Water Conference can be a key moment towards 2030 in accelerating youth-engagement for sustainability. This also means that New York will not be the end of this project, nor our organization. We move beyond to keep creating local impact. We believe that through sports, education and positive energy we reach communities that are hard to reach. To activate these communities, let them create their own capacity to become climate resilient, and to bring together the whole world for sustainability and water.

Global accelerator of evidence-based tech accountability advocacy, working to move the conversation beyond problems and onto actionable diagnosis and solutions. We empower frontline actors with the tools, methodology, community, connections and access to power charge their advocacy. We facilitate global investigations and advocacy push around systemic issues, requiring multi country, multi stakeholder interventions.
Windle International Nederland
Windle International Nederland is a member of Windle International. Windle International is a humanitarian and international development organisation that harnesses the power of education to empower and inspire communities. We focus particularly on refugees and communities who have been affected by conflict and marginalisation in eastern Africa.
We have been helping people to access good quality education and training in some of the world’s most challenging environments for over forty years. We run programmes in Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan, Sudan, Somalia and the UK. Offices in the UK, the US, Canada and the Netherlands support this work through advocacy, fundraising, and global policy development. Alumni of our programmes are based all over the world and play an important role in supporting our work.
Windle International Nederland supports Windle’s development and humanitarian activity through advocacy, fundraising and networking. We engage with European audiences and inspire those who have the power to strengthen our work and amplify our impact. The Windle International Nederland board is assisted by the international secretariat.
World Geospatial Industry Council (WGIC)
The World Geospatial Industry Council (WGIC) is a global not-for-profit trade association of private sector companies working in the geospatial ecosystem. WGIC is run by its 30+ international Members, guided by the Advisory Council and Officers, supported by the Secretariat in day-to-day operations.
Through numerous programs, WGIC works with multi-lateral and international organizations to demonstrate the value and benefits of geospatial technologies in ecology, economy, and society.
World’s Youth for Climate Justice
World’s Youth for Climate Justice is the global sister organization of the Pacific Islands Students Fighting Climate Change (PISFCC), founded in 2019 by 27 law students, to raise awareness for the rising sea level and the threat to Pacific Islands like Vanuatu. The youth movement is known worldwide for promoting the request for an advisory opinion from the International Court of Justice (ICJ) regarding states’ obligations in respect of climate change. On 29 March 2023, the United Nations General Assembly adopted this historic resolution requesting an ICJ advisory opinion on climate justice
Youth Peace Initiative
Youth Peace Initiative aims to give youth in conflict areas a chance to participate in peace processes. YPI seeks to include younger generations in present decisions that affect their future to create or maintain a sustainable peace.
Zoey Breslar Consulting
Zoey Breslar Consulting is being established in July 2022 by Zoey Breslar, as its sole proprietor and will leverage her experience and expertise. Ms. Breslar is a senior leader with 25 years’ experience in international development across Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean, most recently working with humanitarian response and resilience programming in West Africa, and East Africa and the Horn. She has worked for donors, for-profit and non-profit organizations and have managed programs supporting a range of institutions. Ms. Breslar’s experience spans several sectors, implemented in various combinations: education, health, youth, gender, peace building, media, and democracy and governance. Zoey Breslar Consulting will provide services to organizations in the Netherlands interested in collaborating with or investing in African countries, and partnering with African institutions. In this era of attention to decolonization, the manner of partnering is of utmost importance to the success and sustainability of the endeavor, which is the particular strength of our approach.
