The Talent for Good fair is the biggest career fair for good in the Netherlands and brings together students and young professionals for inspiration, knowledge sharing, and networking to help them create pathways to embark on purposeful and impactful careers.
On June 11, 1000 students and 50 contributing organisations filled the space at the Talent for Good Fair. Powered by the Hague Humanity Hub, the Fair gives participants the opportunity to hear and learn from key stakeholders in peace and justice.

Global Human Rights Defence invites you learn how to successfully plan and carry out an advocacy campaign. You will be provided with a template to best structure an impactful campaigned aimed at creating change in society, especially aimed at civil society work. The workshop builds on Global Human Rights Defence’s long experience in influencing the public debate on important topics. Join the workshop to learn from experts in the field.
The workshop will consist of an interactive ‘speed dating session’ led by an experienced Human Resource Advisor and an accompanying intern from the Clingendael Institute. Participants will engage in a short role-playing exercise to simulate real-life interview scenarios, allowing them to practice their skills in a supportive environment and receive constructive feedback.
This years workshop at the Talent for Good Fair will be featuring Mercy Corps’ Senior Energy Advisor and Senior Climate Change Strategy Officer. The workshop will navigate into some of Mercy Corps’ initiatives and explore some activities behind their different commitment streams, especially those relating to Climate and Energy Access. The aim is to provide both students and professionals interested in the sector with some insights into what a career and daily activities within an INGO looks like.
Don’t miss out on joining this workshop session with PLNT, the entrepreneurial hub of The Hague’s ecosystem. The workshop will be hosted by Betty, an innovation coach who supports science-based and social entrepreneurs to launch their businesses. She has worked curating and designing learning experiences for TEDx, RVO, Leiden University, T-Mobile, Tec de Monterrey in Mexico, and others. Betty believes that education, technology, and entrepreneurship, steered by empathic individuals, are the tools we must use to make systematic transformations in the world.
This workshop will be led by María Lucía Bermúdez, one of the co-founders of the Holland Alumni Network and its initiative Here2Work. Maria will not only share her personal journey but also provide practical advice on how to build a successful career in the Netherlands as an international. Through her initiative, she has been able to support international individuals by offering guidance and mentorship on navigating the Dutch job market and entrepreneurial landscape.

Meet Caroline:
After completing her studies in International Relations at the University of Groningen, with a special focus on European Integration, Caroline Richelle gained several years of experience in public affairs and strategic communication in Brussels. Through her work as consultant working on various dossiers, and project manager of Pan-European projects supported by EU funds, she learned a lot about the workings of the ‘Eurobubble’. Moving on to work for the European Commission Representation in The Hague as a social media/online community manager and press officer provided her with thorough knowledge of EU policies and policymaking. In her current position as Head of the political section at the Representation, she focuses on political reporting, diplomacy, stakeholder management, and organising high-level visits. Caroline is excited to share her career experiences with you and answer questions about getting your foot in the EU institutions!
