Cyber Secure the Hague
Free Cybersecurity Tools and Advice for NGOs
With over 500 cyberattacks on NGOs since 2016, it’s more important than ever to make your NGO cyber resilient. Threats to NGOs include targeting by foreign governments and cyber criminals. While the City of The Hague provides cybersecurity assistance to international organisations, extending these resources to all local NGOs is challenging. To meet this need, the CyberPeace Institute (CPI), Dutch Institute For Vulnerability Disclosure (DIVD), CSIRT.global and The Hague Humanity Hub are all joining forces to help more NGOs become cyber secure.
The Cyber Secure the Hague project, made possible by The City of The Hague, will provide free cybersecurity resources and training to nonprofits, increasing cyber resilience, awareness, and knowledge for a critical sector.
The CyberPeace Institute (CPI), DIVD, and The Hague Humanity Hub will together identify 10 local NGOs to conduct a security assessment and provide free cybersecurity resources, tools, and support to strengthen their cybersecurity capabilities.
