The United Nations after Brexit

24 September, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

- Free

How do EU institutions and member states coordinate at the United Nations, and how might this change after Brexit? How will Britain henceforth seek to organise at the UN? What are normative, structural and diplomatic opportunities presented by a shift in the EU position ? And what does this mean for British and Dutch diplomacy?

We warmly invite you for a panel discussion on ‘The United Nations After Brexit’ on Tuesday 24 September at The Hague University of Applied Sciences (THUAS) between 2-3.30 pm. Among the panel members will be Peter Wilson CMG, British Ambassador to The Netherlands.

This event  is part of the Just Peace Week 2019 in The Hague, considering the importance of the UN as the General Assembly week begins in September and the 75th anniversary looms next year.

This event is open for public professionals, researchers, lecturers and students. Please register below!
