Livestream – HAGUE TALKS: How to encourage Women Leadership in times of Covid?

11 March, 2021 @ 4:00 pm 5:00 pm

Only year ago, your own first thoughts when asked about a global crisis might have been very different from our current reality. Today, however, we all live in this new, strange world, with its challenges and insecurities. Meanwhile, as women and girls are being hit disproportionally by the pandemic, achievements in the field of gender equality and women’s rights are under threat. Despite these challenges, women and girls are active on the frontlines of the crisis, as healthcare workers, caregivers, innovators, community organizers and national leaders, to help shape a more equal future and recovery in the wake of COVID-19.

This year, the theme of UN International Women’s Day is Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world. During this online Hague Talks, we further explore this theme as we ask the three inspirational speakers how they try to help forge a gender equal world.

Join us in this conversation on celebrating women’s achievements, raising awareness against bias and taking action for equality. We challenge you to think about your own role in this global crisis: what challenges and opportunities do you see for a more inclusive world?

Will you join us in encouraging people to forge a more inclusive world together? Will you #ChooseToChallenge with us and start #SolvingGlobalChallengesTogether?
