This event series is designed to satisfy your science-curiosity, stimulate meaningful yet accessible discussions about the latest scientific developments, and give you direct access to approachable local experts. So, grab a cup of coffee or tea (and a vegan treat!), settle in, and get ready to have all your burning questions answered!

About our theme: From eco-anxiety to resilience

Ever heard of climate anxiety? If you haven’t, you’ve probably felt it. Most of our newsfeeds are overwhelmed with devastating disasters and ominous forecasts. Naturally, these kinds of stories invoke such delightful emotions as grief, fear and panic. In all that darkness, positive stories about climate developments and our own human resilience tend to go unnoticed.

Structure

During the first instalment of our Community Cafe, the expert panel will share the details of their own community-centric sustainability initiatives and explore the incredible possibilities of engaging with diverse societal actors to combat climate disasters and environmental degradation.

Next, the floor will be open for your questions.
