Humanitarian Energy and Innovation Summit

The Humanitarian Energy and Innovation Summit is an unique event that brings together stakeholders to discuss the future of clean energy, and energy of the future. Following the Access to Modern Energy Programme, which activated fourteen humanitarian organisations, this event will bring together representatives from a wide range of industries, academia and politics in front of influential audiences. It is rare that speakers and participants representing so many parts of the energy industry [solution providers on the grid, generators, IT], politicians and academics as well as such forward-thinking innovators and investors – are able to co-operate, discourse and compare knowledge in a public forum with humanitarian organisation.

During this event we empower the AME programmes participants and we aim to establish and grow an innovative community of the future humanitarian energy landscape to

• develop relationships between participants of the future energy landscape and humanitarian organisations 
• set up a platform for exchange of expert information and best practices
• explore models of alternative resources, resource sharing and storing based on innovation
• define ways to increase energy efficiency and efficient allocation of resources.

The Energy and Innovation Summit is hosted by RVO (The Netherlands Enterprise Agency) and DCHI (Dutch Coalition for Humanitarian Innovation).
