PACE Engagement and Communications Manager

Job Summary

In this position, you will be responsible for managing and expanding the PACE Leadership network, and are expected to turn new developments and insights as derived from your engagement with the PACE members, knowledge partners, project leads, funders, and hub team into internal and external communication products.

WRI will host the PACE hub and you will report to the PACE director. You will be employed by WRI Europe, subject to WRI oversight and included in WRI’s performance management system. The position is in The Hague, the Netherlands. 

The successful candidate will be energetic, versatile, and experienced in engaging a diverse set of stakeholders, with high-level representatives of the public and private sector. You are able to build out and oversee a membership-based network, recruiting new members from different geographies and sectors while activating existing members to play their part in the transition to a more circular economy. You will be well versed in the challenges and opportunities for global progress towards a circular economy, and are able to turn them into compelling and informative content for different internal and external audiences. In addition, you feel confident engaging with external media. Duration of the position is three years with possibility of extension. Travel will be required.
