Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) and DCHI have joined forces to organise a kickoff webinar for the three Access to Modern Energy Projects
Access to Modern Energy is increasingly recognized as an area of humanitarian concern. If communities affected by crises go without proper access to energy, it becomes impossible for them to meet the basic needs of life. In fact, if humanitarian organizations do not adequately address access to energy in their programmes, they risk contributing to the very same problems they aim to solve.
The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) and DCHI have joined forces to organise an official kick-off and shared learnings webinar for the three Access to Modern Energy Projects:
Sudan: Lighting for Learning
Uganda: AMPERE
Ethiopia: Energy call Ethiopia
The event and webinar will focus on summarizing the project’s value and purpose, scope and learning agenda; and providing examples of how clean energy investment and self-reliance create a virtuous circle of beneficial change.
Agenda:
1515-1530 : Walk-in & Registration
1530-1545: Official kick-off for Access to Modern Energy Projects (DCHI/RVO)
1545-1630: Access to Modern Energy projects and joint opportunities for learning
1630-1645: Next steps
1645-1700: Closing remarks
1700-1800: Networking and drinks @ Humanity Hub
We hope to see you there!
