Yes, it’s that time of the year again! Each year, The Spindle organises awards to stimulate innovative projects that are focused on creating a fairer, more inclusive, sustainable world. This year, we will honour three different Awards! As from today, you are already able to apply for two of them: The Spindle Award for Best Innovation for Development and The NOW-Us! Award. As usual, these Awards come with various other prizes as well! Apply before July, 1st!
The Spindle Award for Best Innovation for Development
If you or your organisation has a prototype of a product or project, which contributes to an inclusive, just and a sustainable world you are ready to join! Have you recently developed a new way of approaching a challenge at work? Did you write a new policy or provide a new service? Or did you deliver a new programme that changes the way things were done before? Did you basically find a new solution to a problem recently that your target group would consider valuable? Then you might have an innovation in your hands that could win The Spindle Award for Best Innovation (+ €15.000). Dare to share!
The NOW-Us! (NOthing about us, Without Us) Award
The Spindle and Voice have joined forces for the second edition of the NOW-Us! Award. The NOW-Us! Award recognises inspiring inclusive initiatives from Africa and Asia that work to promote diversity and inclusion to trigger the self-empowerment of marginalised and excluded groups and communities. The NOW-Us! Award accepts initiatives from organisations that are led by, and have been fully developed by, the groups or communities themselves to promote their inclusion in society. If you apply, you stand the chance to win the second NOW-Us! Award (+ €25.000). Read more and apply!
