KPSRL opens application period for €20,000 funding for projects that support knowledge around Security & Rule of Law

The Knowledge Platform Security & Rule of Law (KPSRL) announced that it is opening application period for its Knowledge Management Fund (KMF). If you or your organisation’s mission is to improve policies, programmes, or knowledge in the field of security and rule of law in fragile and conflict affected countries, submit your application by November 27.

What is KPSRL?

KPSRL is a platform aiming to jointly explore innovative approaches to new security and rule of law challenges in fragile and conflict-affected contexts. With a view to diversify thinking and provide insights in the field of security and rule of law, KPSRL provides funds for innovative, agile, and experimental proposals.

The platform is dedicating €200,000 towards an annual funding programme to award grants for 9-month projects of up to €20,00 for events, research ideas and other initiatives that contribute to improving the quality of knowledge on security and the rule of law.

This years’ theme focuses on the generation and brokering of knowledges as well as learning exchanges, rather than implementation of activities.

More information about the thematic focus is available here

Who can apply?

All think tanks, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), academics, universities, private sector organisations, government institutions, journalists, independent researchers or innovators, and data specialists are welcome to submit proposals before November 27, say KPSRL.

And what needs to be submitted?

All you have to do is fill in a short expression of interest form, which you can find on the website. Once a full project is approved, the KPSRL will get in contact to discuss in detail the services to be provided, the budget, the timetable, contingency planning, and the division of labour between the Secretariat and you.

So, make sure you don’t miss out on this great opportunity by applying today! And if you make it to the final round, let us know! We love seeing our community being supported in its work so that you can contribute even more to a peaceful and just world!
