Upinion is truly grateful for this recognition as it allows them to improve their support to people in crisis situations. The organisation seeks to innovate in the humanitarian and development sector by amplifying the voices of people experiencing disaster. It has developed a successful approach and an online platform that allows organisations to easily stay in touch with people in crisis.

Upinion helps non-governmental organisations to make more informed decisions, co-create their interventions with the affected populations, adjust their activities along the way, and share valuable information that matters to people in crisis or by referring people to relevant services.

The Humanity Hub is proud to have Upinion contributing to its community of innovators striving for a more peaceful and just world, and congratulates the organisation on its accomplishment!

The world is increasingly more complex and societal issues continue to pile up on a global scale. Issues such as safety, energy, climate, and food have a huge impact on the lives of people living in cities. With the The Hague Innovators Challenge, Impact City and the municipality of The Hague challenge startups, scale-ups and students to present their innovative ideas for global issues, as described in the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
