First design session

At The Hague Humanity Hub, we believe in working bottom up, so we invited the community to join us for a collaborative design session. For several of our members, it was the first time they got to see the building. So after wandering around the space for a while, the architect, Jamie van Lede of Origins Architects, took us through a design process where he presented lots of different images to gauge the group’s reactions to them. We looked at images of workspaces, desks, meeting rooms, lounges, entertainment areas, and cafés. Next up was a more intuitive process where everyone had to select random images of things that elicited an emotional reaction. This process resulted in a moodboard for the workspace as a whole. Lastly, we looked at the visual identity of the Hub and had delicious food to nurture our minds.
