Each session is interconnected, building on prior lessons to create a cohesive and enriching learning experience. While we recommend attending the full series for maximum benefit, you can also join indivdual sessions.
Cost
Free for Humanity Hub members. Non-members fee: €250 per session. Returning non-members attending more than one session get a 20% discount on their next session. The package price for non-members for all three training courses is available at a discounted price of €565,00.

Training #1: Expanding your donor network
Date: Wednesday 11 September
Schedule: 9:30 to 12:30 (Walk in 9:15, please make sure to come on time)
Description: This workshop will equip participants with the skills to discover new funding opportunities, essential for expanding their donor base and enhancing their fundraising pipeline. Participants will learn about proactive fundraising strategies. The training covers key considerations when seeking new donors, how to assess donor alignment with your organization, and strategies for identifying and selecting the right donors. Participants will also explore technological tools and techniques for effective donor research.
Training #2: Title: Engaging potential donors
Date: Wednesday 16 October
Schedule: 9:30 to 12:30 (Walk in 9:15, please make sure to come on time)
Description: Learn the art of donor engagement in this comprehensive session. Participants will explore strategies for approaching and establishing relationships with potential donors, with a focus on understanding what to prepare before outreach. The course covers essential tools and techniques for donor engagement and the critical donor information that should be researched and gathered prior to making contact.
Training #3: Writing winning proposals
Date: Thursday 21 November
Schedule: 9:30 to 12:30 (Walk in 9:15, please make sure to come on time)
Description: This workshop will provide the foundational knowledge required to write successful funding proposals. Participants will learn how to initiate the proposal writing process, from the conceptualization of the project, incorporating the participation of essential staff within the organization, gather necessary information, and plan the development of proposals. Whether for small grants or large-scale multilateral funding, this training covers the full proposal development cycle.
Fundraising Walk-in Clinic
Make an appointment to get personalised fundraising insights during HVFC’s weekly one on one 30-minute consultations, face-to-face at the Humanity Hub or on-line. The walk-in clinic aims to provide expert advice on specific, case-based, fundraising questions and are available to Humanity Hub members only.
