GRC has been engaged in advancing the conflict and hunger agenda and starvation issues since 2017, supported by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In early September, following a year-long investigation into attacks and other conduct by parties to the conflict impacting access to food and water in Yemen, GRC and Mwatana for Human Rights released their report titled ‘Starvation Makers‘ on the use of starvation as a weapon of warfare in Yemen.
