The Hague Conversations on Conflict – Innovative Approaches

We are pleased to announce the first in a new programme of events by LINKS Europe and The Hague Humanity Hub, which aims to rethink approaches to conflict prevention and resolution.

 

Agenda:

– 16:00-18:00 – Invitational Roundtable (separate registration through email – see below)
– 18:00-20:00 – Public Lecture and networking drinks (eventbrite registration)

 

Public Lecture and networking drinks

The public event of the programme welcomes Dr Walter Kemp, Head of the OSCE Secretariat’s Strategic Policy Support Unit, who will be discussing innovative approaches to peace-building and conflict prevention and resolution, followed by a drinks reception. This event is open to all those interested in the topic.

Invitational Roundtable

Earlier in the day, a closed roundtable meeting with experts and practitioners on the theme ‘Useful or useless: Are Track 2 initiatives and public diplomacy important for preventing and resolving conflicts?’ will be held at The Hague Humanity Hub from 16:00-18:00 the same day. The roundtable meeting is by invitation only. If you would like to join the roundtable, please email office@links-europe.eu with the subject ‘HAGUE CONVERSATIONS ON CONFLICT’, your name, and organisation/affiliation.
