Startup in Residence Ministry of Justice and Security
The Ministry of Justice and Security is launching an innovative program with the objective to cooperate with innovators: the Startup in Residence Program (SiR).
This program challenges startups to come up with solutions to four pre-selected social issues in the field of Justice and Security. We are looking for enthusiastic and innovative startups who are willing to join us on this journey.
What does the SiR program exactly stand for?
It works as follows: Startups can apply when they have an idea that does not exist and can help solve one of the social issues. Take a look at the challenges here !
Three startups will be the opportunity to present their idea, and they will, in the professional jury. Finally, the jury will select the winners (one per social issue). These startups will be admitted to participate in the SiR Program. They will, furthermore, be provided with development budget and will attend the training and guidance program.
After five months of intensive cooperation between startup and ministry, the program will end with the accomplishment of a working prototype. The startup will be invited to present its prototype to the commissioning parties and potential customers during Demo Day in June 2019.
