On behalf of the Afghanistan Transitional Justice Coordination Group and the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH), we have the honour to invite you to an interactive discussion on the ‘Prospects for Peace and Finding Impunity in Afghanistan’.
To be held on Wednesday 22, May, 2019 from 19:00 – 21:00 at the Hague Humanity Hub.
After the recent decision of the Pre-Trial Chamber II of the International Criminal Court (ICC) not to authorise the opening of an investigation into the Afghanistan situation the demand for justice from victims of the decades long civil war in the country remains as strong as ever.
This discussion will feature the viewpoints of activists and lawyers on what is next for peace and justice for Afghanistan.
