Meet the Neighbours: Meet the Ukrainians

23 November, 2021 @ 4:30 pm 5:00 pm

The event takes place with collaboration of the city of The Hague and under the flag of the Conference on the Future of Europe (COFE). The COFE gives inhabitants of our shared European continent the chance to make their voice heard!

For the second in its ‘Meet the Neighbours’ series, LINKS Europe – in association with the Ukrainian National Bar Association and the Embassy of Ukraine in the Netherlands – is pleased to invite you to the networking event, ‘Meet the Ukrainians’, on Tuesday, 23 November 2021, 16.30-18.00, at Humanity Hub City Centre in The Hague.

During the event, we will showcase an exhibition from the UNICEF – and UN Women Ukraine supported project, ‘She is Science’ – an initiative attempting to tackle the under representation of
women in Ukraine’s STEM sectors. Guests will also be able to try an array of Ukrainian food, and drinks will be provided. There will be short addresses by Mrs Natalia Kolomiyets, Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Netherlands; and Valentyn Grozdiy of the Ukrainian National Bar Association.

LINKS Europe’s ‘Meet the neighbours’ series aims to introduce The Hague, and its rich and diverse community of local and international burghers, to countries around the European Union that
constitute our neighbourhood. We believe that understanding better our neighbours will contribute to our future peace, security and prosperity.

Please note that the event will be held under strict 3G COVID-19 protocols – namely, all attendees must show proof of vaccination, proof of recovery, or a negative test no more than 24-hours old. There will be no exceptions.
