Have you ever wondered how your campaigns could become more effective?
Often a great deal of effort is put in the what of a message, but rarely the same attention is given to how the message fits in the larger cultural framework of the target audience.
This ‘lunch and learn’ you’ll learn how a soap superhero taught Nepalese children to wash their hands in the wake of the 2015 earthquakes. You’ll also learn what everyday things – from wearing Nikes to doing a daily prayer – tells us about the cultural framework we adhere to.
This training will show you how your organization can start harnessing the culture of your target audiences to strengthen your communication campaigns. You’ll learn how communication campaigns can align their messages and presentation with the cultural expressions and values of the target audience. Campaigns that do so will generate bigger impact and are more likely to change hearts and minds.
The training will be provided by by Humanity Hub member Yme Gorter, strategy expert and co-founder at Waai. Waai has partnered with humanitarian organizations worldwide in creating impactful communication campaigns.
