The theme of this year’s Conference is “Trends in radicalisation to violence: Key policy priorities and knowledge gaps ” and will be chaired by ICCT’s Director Thomas Renard.  \n\n\n\nOn Wednesday\, December 8\, from 15:00-16:30 CET we will kick off with a high level panel discussing “Trends in radicalisation to violence: key policy concerns and priorities” with a focus on hearing and discussing views from key policymakers from different geographical and institutional horizons. \n\n\n\nSpeakers include: \n\n\n\nMichèle Coninsx – Executive Director of the UN Counter-Terrorism Executive Directorate \n\n\n\nOn Thursday\, December 9\, from 15:00-16:30 CET\, we will conclude the Conference with a panel focusing on academics and researchers\, exploring the topic ‘Radicalisation: knowledge gaps and emerging challenges’. With the aim to understand which knowledge gaps might still alter our capacity to understand emerging challenges\, and which research priorities should drive our agenda\, both in terms of fundamental research as well as policy-oriented research. \n\n\n\nSpeakers include: \n\n\n\nProf. em. Alex P.
