DESCRIPTION:LIVESTREAM\n\n\n\nOn International Transgender Day of Visibility\, HagueTalks invites you to celebrate transgender people around the globe and acknowledge the courage it takes to live openly and authentically. \n\n\n\nTransgender people worldwide experience major challenges – ranging from violence and discrimination to depression and exclusion. Using art\, we explore why visibility for transgender people is important. We raise awareness of the work that still needs to be done\, and discuss how personal stories can lead to inclusivity\, open-mindedness\, and social acceptance. \n\n\n\nOn Transgender Visibility Day we challenge you to think of how storytelling can be a powerful tool to disseminate positive narratives\, tackle prejudice\, stereotypes and stigma.
