Hague Justice Week 2022

Global peace and justice require global collaboration. During The Hague Justice Week, actors of all levels come together, interact and try to find answers to global challenges through the scope of justice.

The Hague Justice Week 2022 will take place from 30 May to 3 June. The Week coincides with the World Justice Forum, also highlighting the importance of the rule of law, both national and international.

A space built by many for meaningful exchange connecting practitioners, policymakers, researchers, students and other individuals from all sectors. We seek to be as inclusive and high-quality as possible advancing from year to year.

This year’s theme is ‘Just speak!’ referring to the right to express yourself and at the same time building communities in which justice will be done.

The international city of peace & justice

No city in the world evokes the noble ideals of peace and justice like The Hague in the Netherlands. International city of peace and justice and legal capital of the world, that is what The Hague is known for around the world. In the city, thousands of people in over 200 international institutions and organizations are working on world peace, day in day out.

The role of the Netherlands as a host country and in particular of The Hague, is to facilitate the work of all those people and organizations working on the rule of law, both national and international.

The Hague is the place where justice is felt to be done.
