DCHI and Netherlands Red Cross will present you academic insights combined with a great virtual networking opportunity.

To highlight and explore the added value of cooperation between humanitarian organisations and private actors and knowledge institutes, DCHI and Netherlands Red Cross invite you to join this virtual session. We aim to co-design solutions for wicked problems in ‘everyday’ humanitarian action.

Theme: Solving wicked problems in humanitarian action with humanitarian design in collaboration.

Background:

• Most academic inputs to humanitarian aid focuses on research/ evidence collection/ accountability to support humanitarian aid

• There are still limited efforts to connect applied research/ science and directly to humanitarian action

• TU Delft, Leiden, Delft Erasmus and Netherlands Red Cross have joined forces to merge design with humanitarian action
