Cybersecurity for NGOs

21 June, 2022 @ 3:00 pm 5:00 pm

On behalf of the Municipality of The Hague, we kindly ask you to save the date for a dedicated ‘cybersecurity for NGOs’ workshop on Tuesday 21 June 2022, from 15:00-17:00 at the Hague Humanity Hub.

We’re very excited that the CyberPeace Institute (Switzerland) and the Dutch Institute for Vulnerability Disclosure (Netherlands) will present their work in this field. With this workshop we aim to give you clear insights and ideas to improve your cybersecurity.

Background

In February The Hague Municipality published its ‘Strategy for a Cyber Secure The Hague’ [‘Agenda Digitaal Veilig Den Haag’ – available here (Dutch only)]. The strategy offers guidance for strengthening the cybersecurity of the city as a system, it’s critical infrastructure and high risk organizations.

With the digitization of society accelerating, and with threats and incidents in the cyber domain on the rise, this issue is high on the agenda for the city government in the coming years. This workshop is part of the short-term actions we are already taking as first steps towards a Cyber Secure The Hague.
