Academy for Global Governance Innovators Launch

The Centre for Expertise for Global Governance cordially invites you to attend the online launch event of its Academy for Global Governance Innovators.

The Academy is a new initiative within the Centre of Expertise for Global Governance and focuses on innovative projects where students, lecturers, researchers, and practitioners collaborate, developing new solutions to emerging global challenges. As a platform for collaboration, the Academy offers unparalleled opportunities for students to expand their network, work on multidisciplinary projects, hone their skills, and broaden their knowledge about issues that will no doubt shape the future. Within the Academy, participants will design and create concrete professional products, coached by leading experts within their respective field.

The first, pilot edition of the Academy will involve students to work on the theme Youth participation in climate policies. The Academy will be launched on 23 September, with an online event where David R Boyd, UN Special Rapporteur for Human Rights and the Environment will deliver a keynote address. The event will begin with the Introduction by Barbara Warwas, Director of the Centre of Expertise for Global Governance and include a Q&A moderated by Alanna O’Malley, Chair of United Nations Studies in Peace and Justice.
